The new normal.
It’s been a difficult few months for all of us. Stay at home orders, masks, gloves, 6 feet of distance, fearful of getting or giving a virus that has wreaked havoc on the world. Life changes in a split second… families are distanced, isolation becomes the new normal. I was having a very hard time not being able to go out and do my normal day to day errands and routine. I was getting anxious and unclear what to do about it. One of the few things that was accessible was outdoor plants and flowers. I enjoy my garden and I became totally immersed in expanding and updating my flower beds. I found peace and comfort in being outside, making my home look even more beautiful and best of all my neighbors would walk by and admire, stop to chat and began doing the same thing. An event that kept me home, fearful and anxious turned into a group of neighbors coming together and “Finding the Good”. Friendships have been formed and our gardens are beautiful.
